CONTACT-O-MAX Boar Cart Stainless version

Hog Slat, Inc. is the exclusive US manufacturer and distributor of the CONTACT-O-MAX™, a motorized boar cart that puts you in control of the boar's movements.  After loading the boar, an electric motor powers the cart to the breeding area.  From the back aisle, you use a remote control to move the boar in front of the cycling females.

An ingenious brake and roller system allows the CONTACT-O-MAX™ to stay in contact with the front of the stalls.  Because of this feature, the CONTACT-O-MAX™ is the only product on the market that assures positive snout to snout contact.  Positive contact allows all technicians to take advantage of the four key factors necessary for correct sow stimulation: sight, smell, sound, and saliva.  When all four of these key stimulators are present, heat detection approaching 100% is possible.  And because the boar no longer has access to spilled feed in the aisle, he focuses his attention on the sows and the stimulation process.

The CONTACT-O-MAX™ is built of durable stainless steel for minimal upkeep.  The unit's electric motor is powered by a rechargeable battery that will run up to 15 hours.  All the electrical components are protected and fully waterproof.  The central drive system and pivot locations allow the operator to make 90 degree turns in a 30" aisle.

The CONTACT-O-MAX™ is also available in a carbon steel, electro-statically painted version known as the CONTACT-O-MAX Jr.™  Both models include a battery charger, two remote control units, two breeding saddles, and an instructional video.
