Hog Slat, Inc. offers the Ultimate Farrowing Crate.  Designed for the professional producer who demands the best technology, our flagship crate is designed to maximize adjustability and features the most advanced design available anywhere.

The stainless steel feeder has a flat bottom to allow the sow easier feed intake.  The Ultimate Crate comes standard with a hi/low sow and piglet nipple waterer or you can choose the optional  wet feeder with nipple mounted inside the feeder.  Stainless steel cup waterers are another option.

The simple latch system holds the feeder in place and makes it easy to clean.  Our front door is pre-punched for the lactation feed system of your choice.  Captured rod hinges allow you to open the door either way and is animal welfare friendly.

Our clever side design allows you to easily adjust the width of the crate to accept the smallest gilts or the largest of sows.  Each setting moves the sides 1 inch giving you a maximum of 6 inches of adjustment!

Saloon-style rump guard allows for easy loading of sows.  No rods or clevis pins are needed.  Lift up and push forward to open.... pull back to close.  It stays in place!

The rear door is constructed of 7/8" solid metal rod for strength and corrosion resistance.   It comes with a plastic rear door panel.  Simply lift the rear door to clear out behind the sow without opening the door or fumbling with latches.

Flip up sides allow the easiest and safest access for removal of mortalities.

The loop finger bars are placed precisely for excellent teat access and pig protection.  The loop shape is more animal welfare friendly. 

Anti-crush bars come standard and help save more pigs.
