TIMING OF THE ACTUATOR OUTPUT AND THE INTERNAL FULLY RETRACTED LIMIT SWITCH MUST BE SET CORRECTLY WHEN THE LOAD NUT IS REPLACED. IF NOT THE ACTUATOR WILL HAVE EITHER LIMITED STROKE OR NOT STOP WHEN RETRACTED RESULTING IN SEVERE DAMAGE. IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND TAKE NOTE TO WARNINGS AND NOTES RELATIVE TO ANYTHING THAT MAY AFFECT THE TIMING OF THE LIMIT SWITCH AND THREADED OUTPUT SHAFT. BEFORE THE ACTUATOR IS REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING, REMOVE THE LOAD (CABLES ETC…). POWER THE ACTUATOR SO THAT IT FULLY RETRACTS. (WHITE WIRE– N, BLACK WIRE –HOT). LET RUN UNTIL IT STOPS. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE OUTPUT SHAFT MOVES OR NOT WHICH IS TYPICAL OF A FAILED LOAD NUT. ONCE IT HAS STOPPED, DISCONNECT POWER AND PLACE ACTUATOR ON BENCH TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING SERVICE. OPEN THE BACK COVER THAT EXPOSES THE LIMIT SWITCHES. THE LOWER LIMIT SWITCH SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS: LOWER CAM SHOULD BE JUST CONTACTING THE LOWER LIMIT SWITCH AS SHOWN. THIS IS THE RETRACTED LIMIT POSITION. THE CAM KNOB MUST BE ON THIS SIDE OF THE LIMIT SWITCH ACTUATOR BUTTON. IF IT IS ON THE OTHER SIDE, IT IS NOT IN THE FULLY RETRACTED POSITION. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO MARK LOCATION OF ITEMS AS THEY ARE REMOVED TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE PUT BACK TOGETHER IN THE SAME ORIENTATION. DO NOT ALLOW ACTUATOR SHAFT TO ROTATE MORE THAN ½ TURN DURING SERVICE. THE RETRACTED LIMIT SWITCH IS SET BASED ON THE POSITION OF THE LOAD NUT ON THE THREADED SHAFT. FOLLOW THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS TO ENSURE PROPER INSTALLATION OF THE LOAD NUT.
