Important Installation Notes and Considerations: GrowerSELECT’s Adult Turkey Feeder can be fitted to provide a winch adjustable Feed Level Cone. This feature is applicable to existing systems or new installations. Maximum length of each winch is 200 feet (61 meters). The winch should be located in the center of the feeders to be adjusted. If feed line is longer than 200 feet (61 meters), more than one winch will be required. Figure 1 Turkey Pan Feed Rings are adjusted (winched) up to allow for maximum flooding and access by young turkeys. The Feed Rings can be lowered as the birds grow to better control amount and level of feed. For Existing System Installations, Power must be disconnected from Anti-Roost System prior to Winch installation. Once exact winch location is determined, the Anti-Roost Cable should be temporarily removed from that area and saved for reconnection after winch installation.
