Hog Slat Inc. Newton Grove, NC USA SEP 2025 REV A3 23 Ventilation System ================================================================== 20. ALARM: The alarm section has a SPDT relay output function. The Alarm can be used in case of power failure, fault in controller, high/low temperature or probe 1 fault in case only one probe is used. 20A: EMPTY BARN LOW: Set the actual temperature an alarm should activate during the “EMPTY BARN” mode of operation. This is primarily to prevent freezing of equipment or water pipes when barn is not in use. 20B: ALARM STATUS: Alarm indication will illuminate beside the indicated fault. 20C. ALARM HIGH: Set the OFFSET value above the SET POINT to equal temperature an alarm should be used in case of over temperature condition. When OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE PROBE is enabled, if the outside temperature is greater than the set point, then the outside temperature replaces the SET POINT reference. HIGH ALARM temperature becomes “OFFSET HIGH + OUTSIDE TEMP” 20D. ALARM LOW: Set the OFFSET value below the SET POINT to equal temperature an alarm should be used in case of under temperature condition. 20E. CRITICAL HIGH ALARM TEMPERATURE: Sets alarm if indoor temperature is greater than this absolute value regardless of outside temperature. 20F. ALARM ZONE PROBE ERROR: Error will occur if probe(s) is lost in ZONE area during ZONE heating operation leaving no active probe to report temperature. ================================================================== 20A 20B 20C 20D 20E 20F
