Pull the cable to the exit of the cone. 14. Attach cone assembly to the fan using the 4 cone mounting brackets with the butterfly oriented correctly. Use fender washers and lock nuts to loosely secure. Prior to final tightening from the inside of the house pull the butterfly as far into the cone (towards the prop) as possible then completely tighten fasteners. This is done to minimize light leaking around the butterfly.
