Cattle Gates

Hog Slat’s heavy-duty cattle gates are perfect for controlling livestock access, as well as providing security as a farm gate to manage entry into paths and areas on your property.

Height: 50” tall

Length Options: 6’, 8’, 10’, 12’, 14’ and 16’ (all gates are 3 inches shorter than listed length to allow for gate hardware and proper clearance)

Hardware: All gates include mounting hardware: 30” chain, two zinc plated hinges (1-5/8”), two zinc plated screw hooks (5/8” x 5”) and one quick link

Design

• Our cattle gates are offered in two convenient styles, including a 6 bar tube gate and a wire mesh gate
• 1-3/4” tube diameter
• Constructed of 18-gauge steel tubing (45,700 PSI structural steel)

Finish

• Our gates are hot-dipped galvanized which provides superior protection for the entire gate, both inside and outside the tubing
• Gate tubes are vented to allow complete submersion into cleaning solutions and the molten zinc during the galvanizing process, completely coating the inside and outside of the entire gate surface
• The hot-dip galvanizing process increases protection and extends lifespan compared to electro-plated finishes
