MicroZone controls allow you to reduce energy consumption and provide more consistent heating levels for piglets.

The MicroZone by HerdStar® helps you save money on energy costs and wean healthier, larger quantities of pigs by providing consistent heat levels. By monitoring room temperature conditions, MicroZone can adjust heat pads and lamps to provide a steady heat level that helps reduce crushed piglets and sow stress. Warm pigs can more effectively convert milk into gains when they are not stressed from being cold.

The Controller monitors room temperature and varies the power to the heat lamps or mats from 0 to 100 percent. It also provides the programmable temperature ramp to adjust your power settings based on animal age. One Controller can manage up to twelve power modulators.
